Hope

Hi bloggers hope that you've had a good week.  Here in London it's gone from a heatwave to now being really chilly.  The news has sadly been dominated by the death of George Floyd, so this quote from the wonderful man Nelson Mandela.
“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion.  People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."
So I felt the need to find some good news stories and animals always bring joy.
A Belgian man has formed a friendship with an unlikely new family living outside his window.  But to his surprise, Baart arrived home one day and he saw an enormous Eurasian eagle owl taking flight from his  balcony.  The baby owls spend hours watching television with him.  They will remain on his balcony till they are old enough to fly.

The second story is about a dog who has earns a place in the Guinness book of records his achievement was the amount of ball he could fit in his mouth at one time.  Finley a Golden Retriever managed to carry six balls in his mouth quite an achievement.  Perhaps Finley will get a job as a ball dog at a tennis court.

I started the blog with a quote from Nelson Mandela and I will close with one "As I walked out the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom I knew if I didn’t leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I’d still be in prison."

Bloggers have a good week over and out London.
